Advantages Associated with Water Treatment Plant

I know very well that water treatment plant facilitates proper purification of water to make it suitable for usage. Various methods as studied by me in my school days include filtration, chlorination, sedimentation, disinfection and many more. Usage of specialized equipments for various purposes is preferred to achieve the goal.

Various Purposes for Treatment of Water

It is true that treatment of water is carried out for many purposes. The Water Treatment Plant in Kolkata serve different purposes which I would like to discuss:

  • Treatment of Wastewater – This method is used to purify the waste collected from home, industries and other sources. This is used to remove radioactive, chemical, physical and biological pollutants. Alternatively, decentralized waste water plant can be used.
  • Treatment of Surface Water – This procedure is applied by the municipalities. Sedimentation, aeration, disinfection, sand filtration and screening are the methods most commonly. To make the water free from pollutants in remote areas, containerized treatment plant is assumed to be most suitable. It can also solve environmental emergencies.
  • Water Plant based on Ozone Treatment – First time I came to learn that an Effluent Treatment Plant Manufacturer also includes ozone to purify water. This method is helpful in treating pool water as it is an excellent disinfectant. This plant does not demand addition of any sort of chemical.
  • Seawater based treatment plant – Seawater I treated nicely to remove the dissolved minerals and salt. Various methodologies employed include vacuum freezing, membrane separation, desalination mainly. This prevents accidents in factories.
  • Packaged water treatments against waste – Plants are available in various different sizes and are used for various different applications in all areas.  Main methodology applied is aeration. Also it has come to my notice that the popularity of bottled drinking water is mounting with the passage of time. Hence for safety, water is collected, treated and finally packed in bottles to make it available to all.
  • Reverse Osmosis – This method is also known as mobile treatment of water. It is popularly designed by water treatment plant manufacturing companies. Reverse osmosis is the most popular method used in this case.
